Are you unsure of what your resume should look like? What to include? How to format it? How do I write a resume!?
I understand! Before I became a Certified Professional Resume Writer, I had all of those questions too. Directly after I graduated college in 2011, I submitted around 15 applications with no response before I eventually gave up and started looking into graduate school for an MBA. It’s difficult and at times infuriating trying to figure out what hiring managers want to see.
That’s why when I develop resumes, I go by the industry standards and professional guidelines. Trying to meet the requirements and wants of every hiring manager is impossible, so by focusing on the professional aspect, you’ll hit more opportunities than you would if you tried to focus on each individual’s desires in a resume.

As you can see, the new format has color, a more professional format, and focuses on my relevant experience and skills in resume writing and career coaching. See the above resume example for how to gain knowledge of how to write a resume.
